Jesus never presented his mother as his Equal...never...

Jesus was the oldest son, it was His responsibility to always see that His mother was cared for. This was Jewish custom and also part of honoring one’s parents in accordance with the commandment.

Jesus knew, as he hung on the cross, that His death was near. ... and knew He was about to make the ultimate sacrifice according to Our Father’s plan.... Jesus was concerned about his mother and how she would live after he was gone..... He made provision for His mother by charging John, of his disciples,... whom He deeply respected and loved,.... to take care of her as if she was his mother. As is written in John 19:27, Jesus’ oral statement before witnesses made the obligation to the beloved disciple (John) binding.

Neither have I nor has any other Catholic here, nor does the Church.

Really? Jesus, the Savior of mankind is hanging on a cross with stakes through His hands and feet, and this after having suffered an horrific whipping and having been paraded through the streets carrying the very cross on which He died, and at the last minute, in between saying “I thirst,” and “Father, why have you forsaken me?” and “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” and “It is finished.”, Jesus realized that He had not made provision for the care of His mother and I guess, since John was there, he got stuck with her.

Really?

Thank you God, Father Almighty, for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ and with Him, the gift of His mother, our mother. May we who hear and obey Your Word always rejoice in their most wondrous love.
