Both. I started out debating a Catholic trad friend in much the same way our counterparts are here.

But I decided to see if the whole bit about Martin Luther restoring primitive Christianity was true or not from an empirical sense.

Mind you that I was quite anti-Catholic because of my anti-Catholic family background complete with my ex-Catholic father.

So what I hear on FR from the Protestants are cliches.

Many of the more vitriolic here barely qualify as Proddies, they are JW's, pagans and other odd cultists. This is why so many of them cowardly refuse to identify their own tiny little splinter sects, they know how indefensible they are.

When substance is missing, all you've got are slogans.
