Out of His Church came the Scriptures, under the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit who was to lead them to all truth.
Truth which included what was to be considered as Scriptures.

Correct.. The NT church of Jesus Christ wrote and assembled the NT scriptures ..but that church bore NO resemblance to Catholicism.. The writings of paul were accepted as scripture at the time of their writing.. The Holy Spirit saw that the inspired books were recognized from the beginning
As early as 200 AD there was a canon of scripture ..That predates the roman church and the heresies that flowed out of the joining of the church with Rome
