It wasn't in his writings...It was in his 'beyond scripture' teaching that he revealed to the Catholic church...Which became part of their tradition...

They obviously don't care what scripture says...

This has already been quoted on at least twice on this thread:

John 20:30 “Many other signs also did Jesus in the sight of his disciples, which are not written in this book.”

If John left out many signs of Jesus, John certainly could have left out signs of the Apostles or Mary.
