How about we look at that whole passage. You see, it starts out telling us who to listen to.
1 Timothy 6:2 And they that have believing masters,
I showed you what scripture says about qualifications to be elder or bishop.
1 Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
If they are not believers of what scripture says we should withdraw ourselves from them.
1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
So you are correct to post proof that those leaders in the CC teach otherwise and consent not to wholesome words. So indeed we should withdraw from them and not listen to them.
That’s just your private interpretation.
The Divinity of Christ contradicts the unity of the Godhead according to the Jews. Nor is it explicit in scripture.
Maybe the Jehovah’s Witnesses have a point, don’t you think?
