Let me let you in on something. The first Bible Study Church I attended was in Louisiana, in 1983. Not exactly a NON-Catholic State. The majority of people in that church were former Roman Catholics. Now, I know your first response is always the response a Catholic give to ex-Catholics, "they were't properly catechised, they were never really Catholics, CINOs, etc. But you would be very wrong. You haven't seen people who understand what salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ, the free gift of God, until you've seen people who have been in bondage to a religious system all their lives realize they have been set free. They are the ambassadors for Christ that are approved workmen for God. They love studying the Bible. And they want more than anything to show others the truths they have been missing. And the deceit of false religious systems.

Once a person understands his place in God's Plan for man, there is no stopping that person. He can and does preach the word, in season, out of season, reproving, rebuking, and exhorting with all longsuffering and doctrine.

They no longer live in fear. Fear of losing what they were taught they're not even sure they have..or fear of their works not being good enough, or that they will be swept around by every doctrine that comes along, or that God's wrath is waiting to be poured out on them. They are free. Free to be what God wants them to be: an ambassador for Christ. 2 Cor. 5:14-21.

They can read deceit and see it for what it truly is. There is no more doubt.

They are all of us who have accepted the finished work of Christ, who are saved by the blood of Christ, baptized into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit, sealed unto the day of redemption, and assured that we are there to stay.

Seriously, you should give it a try. It will save you. God's Word never fails.

A mere puppy. I'd been through three churches, agnosticism and atheism and more by that time.

:)

As for your knowledge of Catholicism, would you recommend I learn Dispensationalism from a refugee of same? Nah, study the sources friend, and just study the history of Christianity, I promise you won't regret it.
