A notoriously 'gay-friendly' parish in San Francisco has invited an openly homosexual Episcopalian cleric to lead an Advent Vespers service.
Most Holy Redeemer parish asked Bishop Otis Charles, a retired Episcopalian prelate, to lead the November 30 service. After serving as the Bishop of Utah from 1971 to 1993, he publicly announced that he is homosexual. Divorced from the mother of his 5 children, he solemnized a same-sex union in 2004.

These poor are in the slums of Catholic Bogota.
They don't own anything either.
I don't see the pope living like them.

Would you like only the virtual Simony and virtual Indulgence, or would you care for the package deal including the aforementioned items as well as Calumny, Contumely, Detraction, and Defamation? We are running a special deal this week for CyberMonday that will go toward your years in virtual Purgatory.
NetPope Hossus I
PS -- I'm thinking of creating NetCardinals. Anyone interested?

FWIW, in Germany.
Not sure if there is Joel Osteen Ministries there or a parish of the Lakewood Church. Does your church have congregations in Germany?

Indeed, NetPope Hossus I, it’s my honor to do as you command.
I’m a little short of works, so can I mark this down as a ‘works’? I don’t want to catch hell because of my shortage of works.

These modern vestments work much better:
They help this minister gross over $200 million a year.

Exodus 20:4-6 4 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

There is nothing virtual about the Simony you have been peddling. Convincing folks that sins are pre-forgiven for the mere price of stroking your ego makes it a very real sin. Beats being in bondage to rules and regs and sacraments and works which people are told they have to do to earn heaven but are never guaranteed to get anyone there in the end.
Colossians 1:11-14 11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. 13He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Beats spinning in your chair drooling while eating pea soup and thinking your soup spoon is your ticket to heaven as you do.

And you don't think God's Word is the FINAL AUTHORITY. I believe God is the final authority. You?
I didn't bring up my church.
I'm not surprised. You said: "The Vatican/RCCs dream is to have that size of a congregation."
You post invites a size of congregation comparison. So, what is the size of the congregation of the church you attend?

I do appreciate your honesty in avoiding the answer.
I would have been impressed with any number greater than one. And you could have included members of your family.

I avoided nothing. You, however, ignored your church that is begging for attendance which was the topic at hand!
THAT IS WHERE YOUR CONCERN SHOULD BE - your church begging for attendance!! Get your priorities straight instead of being a busybody.
