A notoriously 'gay-friendly' parish in San Francisco has invited an openly homosexual Episcopalian cleric to lead an Advent Vespers service.
Most Holy Redeemer parish asked Bishop Otis Charles, a retired Episcopalian prelate, to lead the November 30 service. After serving as the Bishop of Utah from 1971 to 1993, he publicly announced that he is homosexual. Divorced from the mother of his 5 children, he solemnized a same-sex union in 2004.

The problem is you dont seem capable of understanding Scripture that could prove your religion right or wrong. So, its always wrong when a non-Catholic speaks of it, it seems. Thats the TRULY amazing part. That you seem content to post your opinions based on nothing Scriptural, but all things non- or anti- Scriptural, like traditions and doctrines and writings of early Church fathers, and creeds, and councils. Those seem to be your anchor. And why Im afraid I cannot take your opinions seriously. Yet again. That is the planned ignorance that luther and the reformers fought against ...

Your opinion of scripture is either your own ill-considered argument or some odd decode from the 19th Century teachers that invented Dispensationalism.
So, no, I don’t see any value in it.
In regards to engaging any further, I repeat: I ask that in the in the future, you please don’t ping me to pick an argument unless you have one that you really really think is good and has been thoroughly throught through, at least enough to stick with to some conclusion.

Your faith is contingent on your own discernment
Time and time again they IGNORE the Holy Spirit is The Teacher. IGNORING God and then claiming they believe HIM is what? James 1:6,7 "That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

Unless there’s more than one Holy Spirit, it’s not the Holy Spirit that is teaching all these different scriptural interpretations.
That leaves your own discernment.

Only Satan could have conceived and executed a plan that was so deceitful, outward-man based, and appealed to so many who desire nothing more than to be told what to believe. Pride, vanity, and itching ears. And twisting of God’s word to make the truth into a lie. When God’s wrath is poured out, it will be justified and well-deserved.

Ping you to an argument that I really really THINK is GOOD? Why would I do that? You seem to have no basis in your arguments. Unless I'm willing to go extra-biblical. And I'm not. The only conclusion you seem able to come to is the conclusion that non-Catholics cannot comprehend anything of value. "Value" being what YOUR church considers "value".
No need to worry about pings from me. I have nothing to offer you except the gospel of your salvation. And that apparently is not something you seem to value. Have a good evening.

If you want to know why you were pinged to begin with, read your post 593 to NL. It was a reply to post 529 from NL to me. See, you two decided to post your opinions on my comment without bothering to at least give me a courtesy ping. Let me just say this, in the future, if you care not to be pinged, do not use one of my posts as conversations without letting me know. Or you WILL be pinged by me.

So, now the reason you said you included me wasn’t the actual reason you included me.
Consistently lacking in consistency.
Just not worth it.

Faith and reason come from the same place. At least Catholic priests aren’t anti-intellectuals like yourself.
Maybe you might be happy with the Taliban.

You mean traditions and doctrines of men like yours. There is no salvation in Protestantism.
The only God I have to answer to is God and not to you, especially since the only God you believe in is your own ego.
Did you ever hear Jesus say, “Judge not, lest ye be judged.”
Protestantism is a false religion like Mormonism.

I could apply that same verse to you. What makes you qualified to interpret the Bible?
Maybe you are your own God, perhaps?

Faith and reason come from the same place. At least Catholic priests arent anti-intellectuals like yourself. That's what the philosophers have convinced you of...
You are speaking of man's reasoning/wisdom...That's why all the attention to philosophy...
Of course God gave us all the ability to reason so that we could survive in the world...But God's wisdom that Christians have access to has nothing to do with philosophy or intellect...
You'll never get that wisdom by knowing about God...You can only get that wisdom by knowing God...

Sounds like you are getting desperate to come up with any kind of intelligent response...Is philosophy failing you???
