A notoriously 'gay-friendly' parish in San Francisco has invited an openly homosexual Episcopalian cleric to lead an Advent Vespers service.
Most Holy Redeemer parish asked Bishop Otis Charles, a retired Episcopalian prelate, to lead the November 30 service. After serving as the Bishop of Utah from 1971 to 1993, he publicly announced that he is homosexual. Divorced from the mother of his 5 children, he solemnized a same-sex union in 2004.
That is absolutely preposterous. It shows a complete lack of understanding of either faith.
Because Mormonism grew out of your faith. That’s how, and you both base your religion on the idea of the Great Apostasy.
Joseph Smith started out a good Evangelical Protestant. He just took your private reading of scripture a step further.
I don’t see much of a difference between you and Joseph Smith.
Bear-man. It’s just a TROLL. Kick it to the curb.
That is absolutely preposterous.

Ever hear of the Great Apostasy? It’s something you both believe in.
It’s OK for Fundamentalists to bash Catholicism, but Catholics can’t defend themselves. Rich.
Now I understand why you became a Catholic. You need to stay right where you are.
No, you detect incredulity. I never imagined anyone could be so clueless.
False premise.
From an armchair psychologist.....
FOTFLOL!!!!!!
Fundamentalism and Mormonism are both children of Second Great Awakening Revivalism and the push for a “purer” form of Christianity. They have the same roots in the Radical Reformation.
I’m stating fact.

Enjoy the company while you have it.
TROLL!
You aren’t Jesus, so you don’t have any authority to quote from the gospels.
Directing someone to what Scripture says is not using the words as my own with no attribution as if I thought of them.
Fail on that one.
Try again.
Again, I’m holding you to your own standard. That is you shouldn’t be in the business of quoting scriptures you don’t understand.
I guess everyone has to think like you. It’s OK to be bigoted against Catholics, but it is quite another when a Catholic understands his faith enough to make Fundamentalists uncomfortable.
Catholics aren’t supposed to understand the Bible.
It’s too late for you to use that anyway. All it is is evidence that you got showed up by your own words.
Coming back with *You did it too*, means nothing.
Catholics understanding Catholicism doesn't make anyone uncomfortable. Many Catholics don't understand their faith.
Neither do they understand Christianity.
