Well . . . to be fair, this is what some of them themselves teach ("the rapture").

The part I'm trying to wrap my mind around is that Israel isn't "the scriptural Israel" while the medieval kingdom of Charlemagne is.

But what can you expect from people who (claim to) read the Torah and see something other than Judaism commanded?
