Liturgy in the vernacular likewise is more palatable to the Orthodox than the alternative.

Maybe the TLM in the vernacular, if it existed, but not the Novus Ordo. The Orthodox have the highest esteem for liturgical tradition and look upon the Novus Ordo and post VII liturgical developments with dismay and scorn. Furthermore they regard the Latin Church's treatment of traditionalist Catholics as a barometer of how they would be treated because of their loyalty and preservation of traditional liturgy.

Yes, I agree with you, and especially this part:

I am simply pointing out that a wholesale rollback of Vatican II is also not a good option, whereas the selective rollback is taking shape in this blessed pontificate.
