How is a democracy where the populace is largely ignorant and apathetic, and where the politicians only care about their own power any worse than monarchies?
I sometimes feel this isn’t any worse than an absolute monarchy. Congress and the presidency isn’t any worse than Rome under the Julio-Claudian dynasty or France under the Bourbons.
I’ve been reading this for 2 days and cannot catch up.
After the moslems conquer and overrun Europe, it will be obvious that the secularist democrats won’t be able to drive them out and restore civilization.
A French king makes sense. Would there be anybody else left in France to do the job? The Buddhists perhaps?
