No simple one, that is a REPUBLIC for you.

The advantage of a Republic over a Monarchy in that context should be obvious even to you.

We will remove 0bama from power soon.

The only way to remove an unqualified moronic stooge of a Monarch is through violent revolution.

But any American worthy of the name would fight to the death against even a benevolent monarch, for freedoms sake.

No problemo!

Fondle a few beads.

Splash some “holy” water.

Kiss some toes of some marble statues.

Mumble some confessions in front of the local uhhhh . . . altar boy trainer . . .

Mutter some repetitious penance assignment . . .

Go to GO and repeat drunkenness or whatever.

What a gig.

Them thar magisterical old boys club characters sure mapped out quite an institution.

Show me why you are not a revisionist Christian?

All of the early records show the Early Christians believed far more like Catholics and Eastern Orthodox than Fundamentalist Protestants.

When Protestants read their Bibles its not unlike when they take a Rohrschach test. They see what they want to.

History and Fundamentalist Protestantism are two separate things.

Your religion is a 16th century or maybe even a 19th century creation.

A 1st or 2nd century Christian would find the whole idea of the rapture or premillenialism completely alien.

Thank you for the freepmail concerning books on the Fatima Apparition written by JOAQUIM FERNANDES and FINA D’ARMADA. These authors attribute the Fatima events to UFO visitation. Probably they are too "scientific" to admit the possibility of divine intervention, even though they are forced to acknowledge that miracles did take place.

I am skeptical about dismissals of Fatima from non-Christian sources but am at least gratified that these researchers attested to the miracles.

THE TRUTH of The Gospel and of history and of the Body of Christ THE CHURCH is out there for those who genuinely seek it. I have no need to do your research for you. There's plenty of documentation in the long history on FR of Proddy/RC threads.

The Church’s teachings didn’t change after Nicaea from what they had been before Nicaea.

Fundamentalist Protestants and Liberal Protestantism are two sides of the same coin and use the same arguments against the historic Church.

We? Are you part of the hostile ruling elite. If not, you have very little say in the matter. The moronic stooge 0bama will be replaced by yet another moronic stooge. I was hoping Palin might run, but apparently she found out that the fix was already in.

I did my research years ago. I don't need this kind of theology.

And you are one who charges others with mindless propaganda?

Your argument was mindless propaganda because it went against the historical record. How is my argument against the historical record?

Ah, yes, it is all a big conspiracy!

So Monarchy is the only answer!!!!/s

I am part of the voting public. The majority of the American voters wanted 0bama as President in 2008. The majority of American voters will hopefully want a different President in 2012. THAT is what will determine if 0bama is in power for another four years or not, a majority (in the electoral college) of American voters.

Only a boot licking simpleton would prefer a Monarchy to a Republic.

Careful. The only thing that might get you banned from FreeRepublic faster than being a self-professed Monarchist is posting/sharing/promoting UFOlogy nonsense on FreeRepublic.

And rightly so.

“All early Christians were AMILLENIAL.”

They were, you say? I’m not going to go to the trouble to dig up the quotes, but all these early writers, Barnabus, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Tertullian, Hypollutus, Victorinus, were PREMILLENNIAL. Papists have Augustine to thank for their Amillennialism, the aforementioned Christians - who were before Augustine - were not.

By the time of Augustine, his Amill contrivance was right in keeping with the general trend of the times of departing from what was taught before them. His Amillennialism helped pave the way for the bishops to join in with Constantine. No prolemo, after all, didn’t their Amillennialism say they were to be ruling the world before Christ returns, in the millennial?

Premillennialism, of course, teaches the opposite. Not until the second coming will Christ rule the world. Had the bishops been Premill they would never have joined in with Constantine.

Thinking they were supposed to be ruling the world in the millennial is the root cause for countless atrocities, burning at the stake, etc. in medieval times. We have the false doctrine of Amillennialism to thank for it. Which you seem to think is Apostolic. Nothing could be further from the truth.

"... compromising bishops had no problem joining in with Contstantine."

Every time I see that particular lie repeated I get a good laugh because even a meager amount of research would show anyone who honestly cared about the truth that the Bishops resisted Constantine far more than they went along with him. Constantine made Christianity legal and made it illegal to persecute Christians, he also wanted one Church rather than the myriad number of heresies that would arise from everyone interpreting Scripture as they saw fit so HE cooperated with the Church in that respect. Other than that, though, Constantine was an Arian, he believed in the Arian heresy and was upset when his personal belief in Arianism was soundly rejected as heresy at the Council he supported. He was baptised by an Arian Priest, who may even have already been excommunicated by then, on his deathbed.

In addition, almost every single initiative Constantine personally advocated was soundly rejected by the Church as either heresy or error. Anyone who wants to spread lies is free to do so, of course, but be aware that those honestly searching out the truth will soon weed through the propaganda, find the honest sources that existed for about sixteen hundred years before the lie about "Constantine making the Church in his own image" was started, and find that those posting such drivel either enjoy remaining ignorant or are simply liars.

So shortly after the birth date of Martin Luther would be a good time for anyone interested in the truth to read up on just how many of the lies like that one Luther admitted to starting and/or spreading while laughing at those who believed his propaganda. The majority of the items listed in the post to which I reply are, in fact, things that either were attacked by Luther based on what he knew to be lies, or just things the ignorant don't like to bother finding out about rather than just staying in their wallow and enjoying the mud they fling about. Just like the Truth in Scriptures, most folks enjoy making up their own interpretation rather than seeking the Truth, though, which is why the vast majority of those who follow the doctrine of "Sola Yourselfa" and "Make up My Own" will be hearing, "I never knew you" when they're expecting a pat on their little heads for making up such a fine substitute for the Gospel Christ and the Apostles taught.

have a nice day

Why is it that all of your polemics ignore the Christian East?

Luther, Calvin, etc. were amillenial.

If I enjoy him or not, he is only elected to a four year term.

I hope you enjoy the fervent wish to lick the boots of better men and call them your Lord and Sovereign and King.

Democracies are very common in human history. Without fail, every single one has degenerated into an oligarchy hostile to the general interest within two centuries or less. Our “democracy” (formerly called a republic) has certainly done so. At least with a monarchy, there is a good chance that the king will favor the general interest as many have throughout history.

Hmm, peering back through church history, I see a long succession of the Roman Papacy in cahoots with European Emperors ruling Europe. It had to start some place. I don’t find it before Constantine’s so called Christianized empire.

If you know where else it is supposed to have started other than Constantine, enlighten me please.

Your anti-Americanism is no excuse for ignorance of our founding.

Our founders said the same thing you said about Democracy -that is why they formed a REPUBLIC.

We still are a Republic, not a Democracy.

Our Republic has a longer history of recognizing the natural rights of mankind than any Monarchy in history.

But be sure to bow down to the inbred nepotic dynasties and lick the boots of better men than you, and be sure to call them your Lord, your Sovereign, your Master, and your King.

May your chains rest lightly upon you and posterity will certainly forget that such as you were ever our countrymen.

Because your delusion will accomplish nothing, other than a few belly laughs at how blind and servile some can be.
