Good catch. I don't think they even realize that they apply to scripture their own preconceptions. Acts 2:47 - And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
CB - Those who are saved are part of the church.
Of course they don't. I cannot even imagine how many instances of Paul worshipers here who get Paul wrong all the time, that I have corrected with the plain meaning of what Paul wrote, for instance.
