THANK YOU, boatbums. That's the point I've been trying to make to no avail, except fortunately the RM and you guys. If a source is acknowledged and the information is given down to the chapter and page number, then what else is there to do? A person cannot read the entire website looking for a particular sentence so they can POUNCE like they've discovered some kind of nefarious plan. Hey, the information may be anywhere, but I've given where I've found it and I've sourced it.

The only alternative lays with the accuser. Prove it or shut up. If you don't like my sources, go to the RM to get it straight. But do NOT accuse me of going someplace I haven't been in order to get information that I've already sourced. That's the heighth of stupidity. Like you said, NOTHING would ever be posted. Maybe that's the point, in some cases. They don't care where they come from, I don't think. They just don't want the messages given. Even when they come from their OWN CCC or Vatican Councils, or doctrines, or traditions. It must be embarrassing to see it written in black and white. That's all I can figure out.

I wouldn't say to no avail.

I think you can use the "Bible Study Group" source bit on some here ad infinitum.

Or...maybe some are just too lazy to verify something that came from a book or a newspaper or a publication of a church. They want to be able to click on a link to see it for themselves. Either that, or it is to boast of uncovering a nefarious plan and possibly getting an adversary dinged by the Moderator or even banned. Oh what a feather in their cap that would be!
