You are confusing a court of law with human sacrifice. These people were sacrificing their sons and daughters...innocent children. (And the bible doesnt teach original sin...that is a NT invention). It wasnt just the injustice of the sacrifice G-d was complaining about. It was also they were sacrificing human beings. Again listen carefully to what G-d says:
Deut 12: Thou shalt not do so unto the Eternal thy God: for every abomination to the Eternal, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. Jeremiah which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:
G-d hates it...it is an abomination...so horrific it never entered his mind to command it.
These are innocent human children. Yet you say that Jesus was even more innocent and sinless, so G-d gives the green light to kill him? G-d creates a special god-man human, who is equal to himself (In fact is himself according to the church), never before seen in human history just to sacrifice him, when G-d says he hates it? It is an abomination? Never entered His mind? He does it to his own son? No...

it’s hard to have a discussion with someone that rejects the NT, i can quote it, but you reject it.
