It is interesting that Mormons now include references to the Christian Bible, something that they never did in past generations.
Hmmm, that's a new one. I'm a Mormon and we've always used a Bible. Every day in fact. I remember as a kid at my Grandmother's house having her read from the bible to us too. (King James Version.)
There are plenty of doctrinal differences between us, but that fact that we believe in additional scripture and that God has spoken to other nations of the earth, not just ancient Israel, doesn't mean we don't revere the bible.
BTW, I was pleased to see what Pat Robertson just said:
“Robertson said he would continue to comment on the news of the day and noted he likes Mitt Romney's politics. He said he considers the Mormon candidate “an outstanding Christian,” but declined to say if he would be OK with a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the White House. Both Romney and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman are Mormons seeking the GOP nomination, and many evangelicals are skeptical of the Mormon faith's claims to Christianity.”
