I always wondered what is it SWAT teams have with killing dogs? I’m sure we don’t hear about the good guys, but dang, if you’re a psychopath who loves to kill, SWAT seems like your best career option.
Of course it won’t hold up in American courts, California is just teaching the Chinese how to keep their perfect fascist state clean.

People are having a knee jerk reaction to this. The group is hosting 20 and 50 person meetings. That’s a lot of cars and I’m betting the neighbors complained about parking.
It’s also Christians giving offense to their neighbors.
This should be watched for persecution, but I’m betting the city is right.
I am a Christian and my thoughts are the state is wrong, however, if these folks are having so many people over their parking all up and down the street and causing an issue that way they won’t be making many converts. I’m sure thier church, and they should really have one, would allow them to host a bible study there.
People do have a right to be able in and out of their homes. Or how about people come and block yours a couple times a week? I’ve been to a number of Bible studies and groups. 12 is usually considered the maximum number. Not 20 and certainly not 50. If you have a group that big, make arrangements to meet at the church or rent a facility.
Christians aren’t supposed to be offensive to others. You run people away from Christ that way.

The Righteous Right was very much for trampling of private property rights when it was a debate over smoking bans. Sadly, they are being hoisted upon their own petard. I am sorry to see it, but do have to say that we warned the RR FReepers repeatedly....
Now that it is to late to protect private property, are they expecting others to join the fight that they helped bring to defeat?
I don't think the article said the car's were blocking driveways...no one person owns the streets.
I hazard a guess that some neighbor had a burr under their saddle and complained...
If what someone does in their home is open to government inspection (of course if what is done is not criminal) the government or those that make the rules have a Napoleon complex and think their little gods...
One of the articles about this said that the couple live on 4.7 acres and that there is plenty of room for parking. The implication from the article was that it was off-street parking on the people’s property.
I used to live across the street from a noisy ELK’s lodge. They never got in trouble for disturbing my sleep with yelling and profanity at 2 a.m. in the morning when returning to their cars which were parked right in front of my duplex.
These fines are clearly a case of religious discrimination.
Good thing they didn't have HOA's or zoning boards!
The positive takeaway on this is that every day overreaching government makes more enemies, more tea partiers.

My son is one of the good guys. SWAT guys are usually ex- military. Are the military psychopaths too?
The Romans, pagan priests, and Pharisees were pretty hostile to those early Christians who met in house churches—read Acts and the Apostolic Fathers. But they didn’t use zoning laws against them!

With a few incredibly hyped exceptions, no, they’re heroes. But you need to take a logic course if you’re thinking “Some A are X, Some B are X, therefore, A must be B.”
