Any ideas about what "baptism" Jesus was talking about here? It wasn't water baptism, because he had already been baptized by John the Baptist at the start of his minstry.
That's irrelevant to the discussion. He was not commanding them to be baptized.
"That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee, AFTER the baptism which John preached (water): How GOd anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power; who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." Acts 10:37,38).
"And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord:" Isaiah 11:2.
And then came Acts Chapter 2. And they were indeed baptized with the baptism He was baptized with.
