(Quibble: Actually, it is yeast that ferments grape juice into wine. It does so anaerobically.) giggles that's true .It's fungal not bacterial . I should have use the word microbe. It's also proof that real wine was used at the Last Supper and not grape juice . With no refrigeration juice from a grape harvest could only be wine or vinegar. Grapes ripen in the summer , the Last Supper (Passover) was in the spring.
