As the writer of this heretical article has said, that Election can not mean salvation, it must mean some other reason, or purpose, but ? from this verse from the book of Romans clearly shows us that Paul is talking about the Grace and Mercy of God.
When we talk about the Grace and Mercy of God in the New Testament is it always meant, that Gospel of Jesus Christ : i.e. Salvation.
