The beginning of Louis Farrakhan's sermon is spectacular, but then he really goes off the rails advocating egalitarianism which itself is driven by envy. The huge disconnect between the beginning and ending is likely a case of plagiarism. Anyway, I thought I'd share the good part because it is very good. Envy isn't just the mother of murder, but the mother of theft, hate, destruction, riots, war, and voting Democrat.

The opening is a setup to rationalize and justify the upstart envier Mohamed the Prophet (that's what he was when he started out), by conflating Biblical teachings with Mo's autobiographical account of how "everybody was against him", conveniently leaving out how "everybody" was converted to non envious believers, the point of the sword.

Your right, that sentence marks a 180 degree turn in the message of the sermon.

Poor Farrakhan, always at odds with truth. Pride, is the root of ALL sin.
