Is your Bishop hostile to the TLM? If not, have him contact Cardinal Burke about getting the Institute for Christ the King Sovereign Priest to assign a pastor for a parish dedicated to the Extraordinary Form. We have four such parishes in Wisconsin which offer daily masses. The priests also assist other parishes to institute regular Sunday EF masses. Illinois has 3 such parishes and Missouri has 2. So there is a lot of activity in the region--the provincial headquarters is in Chicago.

I have been attending St. Stanislaus in Milwaukee since April. The priests I have encountered have been excellent as pastors as well as liturgically profound.

Without naming names, our bishop is hostile. He welcomed the POTUS at a private family home and even posted the event on facebook. I’ve got a few hear-say conversations, but won’t post them. There will be no FSSP or certainly no SSPX here. We are truly lucky to have what we have. I almost felt guilty for creating the petition, simply for the fact that if enough people complain, the bishop could send our priest to the hinterlands, leaving us with nothing...other than to drive to Omaha every Sunday.
