You say “A very specific word was utilized there: “elected”.
Now, you’re not trying to tell VOTERS that they HAVE to vote for cultists for POTUS, are you? Are you saying if we don’t, we’re “pretty messed up?”
No I’m saying that SHE is telling the voters they CANNOT be allowed to vote for whomever they choose and elect a mormon. I did NOT say anyone has to vote for anyone. I believe people should vote for the person whom they believe shares their political ideology. YOU, however, are misrepresenting what I said and trying to start an argument. Apparently your rabid hatred of all things mormon has caused you to deliberately misunderstand my point. We shall have to agree to disagree. Good day to you.
No Im saying that SHE is telling the voters they CANNOT be allowed to vote for whomever they choose and elect a mormon.

No Christian should vote for a Mormon in good conscience. They can run (Joseph Smith ran for president in 1844), but they should not be elected. There is inherent conflict of interest there.
Been there, done that.
Why do you keep putting words in her mouth? Can you not read clearly?
She never used the word "CANNOT"!!!
I mean how could one individual keep anybody from voting for anybody they want!!!
If I said to you, you CANNOT post something...who am I authority-wise & power-wise able to stop you from posting? The same thing applies here! She would be guilty of overcommitting to a posture of authority & power she has no way to follow thru on.
If I told you that you "should not" -- or I "recommend or suggest or encourage" that you don't do something...that is NOT the same thing as your claim that she was saying you CANNOT do something.
And here you go & do this right after I rebuked you openly for doing the same thing in a previous post! You've gotta a LOT of online nerve -- and no credibility.
In post #113, you twice put words in her mouth there, too: First you said: This person seems to be saying that anyone who is a mormon should not have the right to practice their religious beliefs and serve their country at the same time. (When she did not)
Then you claimed, that she was trying to stop Mitt Romney from running! (When she did not say that)
I recommend to you that if you're ever tempted to gossip, don't. Even when something is clearly presented to you in writing multiple times, you get it wrong, assume the worst about the person, and then pass on whatever made-up words you've added on to their quoteable phrases!
I dare you. Go back into the interview & pull out her exact words -- and then tell us how you managed to keep garble it time after time after time!
If you have ANY sense of Christian sensibilities about you, may I suggest you give an open-ended apology to this author -- even if she never reads it.
Apparently your rabid hatred of all things mormon has caused you to deliberately misunderstand my point.
No, I don't "hate" Mormons -- rabidly or any other way. But if you feel you have to judge the inner motives of complete strangers, may I suggest that you apologize for that as well? (Or do you have a Ph.D. in inner judgmentalism? May I see your license?)
