astrology and astronomy are not the same.
Bible scripture speaks of “signs” in the heavens.
(Matthew 24? revelation?)
and, the 3 wise men, were respected,
(and later made saints?),
though they are often called astologers.
i certainly don’t know.
and i DON’T believe in horoscopes,
which is what i consider astrology.
but i’m sure others here, know much more than me.
Astronomy becomes astrology the moment you attribute predictive meaning to the positions of celestial objects. I think the Three Wise Men reasonably had a waiver from this!
