No, but I do belive that God tests the faith of his people by asking things of them and seeing if they love him enough to obey or not. Was God influenced by animal sacrifices?
Grace = Unmerited favor i.e. you will never do anything that will impress God. Everything you do is but filthy rags compared to what He did.
