Nice way to end the week - with a positive, uplifting story! Thanks!
Now this is AWESOME. God be praised...!
Silly question but why is this happening in America? Shouldn’t this be happening in Mexico?
Eduardo Verástegui: for the FReep-etts.
It is a silly question. The fact that it is happening is what is important and joyous. It goes against all of God’s laws to kill an unborn baby anywhere and hopefully the day will come when this type of clinic replaces all of the abortion mills, that are Planned Parenthood. Pray for that day for I believe that is the day we will return to God’s Good Grace and our land will be restored. Abortion is a curse on our country.
Amen! Amen!
As well as having a strongly moral message - it is a very good, watchable, 'entertaining' movie. The language is English with a touch of Spanish.
Eduardo says, "I decided to go to an abortion center to see if I could learn more about what women think and feel when faced with a crisis pregnancy..." That's when Eduardo met a couple seeking an abortion. He spoke with them for 45 minutes, offering them hope, help, encouragement and his phone number.
"Several months later," Eduardo continues, "I received a phone call from the man I met with the pregnant lady in front of the abortion center. He said, 'Hello Eduardo - this is Javier, and I have great news. My boy was born yesterday! I want to thank you and ask your permission - I would like to name him, Eduardo.'"
"I just put the phone down - I couldn't even talk," Eduardo says. "It's the most emotional thing I've ever done in my life. It changed my life. It was beautiful. I went to the hospital to meet them and see the baby. A few weeks later, I was holding little Eduardito in my hands. It was beautiful!"
Amen.
The key is “ very good movie”, and the great thing is the way he took his ego out of the role by wearing the heavy beard. He is a man of great tact, and a man of great honor, it seems.
I agree with the point abortion is murder and at one time I supported abortion on demand. I have since be saved and have seen the light. However the law is the law and I’m fed up with having to pay the health care costs of illegals. Why can’t their own country being doing this?
Ping....
What a nice change to read a story that isn’t bad news.
The law is wrong, and this clinic could very well play into the elections. If an influential figure like Eduardo Verastegui can get this issue to the forefront in an area that is likely to vote heavily democrat otherwise, I say more power to him.
Obligatory picture for sister FReepettes.
Thanks for observing the rules. Very nice.
Yes, that is a good story. More power to him.
Thanks dear. Ah, you know I’m not an ‘’ette’’, right? I’m a guy. Married and all that. He’s not my ‘’type’’ :-)
Yeah,
he sure is......
I mean, yes, it sure is.
Ah, yes, I just took the opportunity to post that and ping some sister freepers.
It was just bouncing it off you.
Rules are rules, you know.
