I said a prayer for him, and also for his parents. It’s so easy to blame yourself as a parent when there was nothing they could have done. My daughter was dancing one day and tripped and hit her eye on the lower corner of an ottoman, the only place on the whole thing not padded! She injured her eye and we had to rush to the ER. That was five years ago, everything is fine, but I blamed myself. But what could I have done? Told her not to dance?
