Harold Camping Followers Are Deceived and "Professing" Un-Believers that need to TRULY Believe in The Christ, risen from the dean, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for THAT DAY SHALL NOT COME, EXCEPT there come a falling away first, AND that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition
If 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 is correct - and it is - then Harold Camping must by logic, be that man of sin, since Camping is the one revealing it. But alas, that line of thinking is ridiculous and false - just as Camping's false teaching - Camping is not that man of sin! But then what is Camping? His false rants are precisely those that follow 2 Timothy 3:1ff, i.e., boasters, proud, blasphemers, Having a form godliness, but denying the power thereof
As it appears that Harold Camping followers are deceived, Biblically speaking, and are "professing" believers that TRULY need to believe in The Christ
Therefore it appears, unfortunately, since Harold Camping followers are deceived and are, Biblically speaking, "professing" un-believers that TRULY need to believe in The Christ, risen from the dead, seated at the right hand of God. If these Harold Camping followers persist to follow Camping, then Christ's Words will ring true:
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels…Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into life eternal.
The righteous believe in God and Christ, and do not distort and deceive His WORD, neither in doctrine nor the coming return of Christ. The righteous Christ believing Christians DO NOT FOLLOW DECEIVERS.
You who follow Camping are not true believers, this is evident because the Bible tells us that you are deceived by that false boasting and proud prophet, and blasphemer. God teaches us in His WORD that your so called "christians" can appear saved, knowing all the right words to say, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY. Turn to God in order to be saved:
Romans 3:22-25 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is not difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, throughout the forbearance of God
Believe and be saved!
For the rest of us believers, do not be shaken by such false prophets and deceived workers of iniquity! Pray that the Camping camp will turn to God, and turn away from their sins.
I’d be delighted if Camping turned out to be correct.

So you have to rely on popes and councils to discern false prophets like Camping? That’s absurd.
What's absurd is believing that you alone are the sole and best interpreter of Scripture. Camping is no doubt sincere in his beliefs but no more wrong than any of the YOPIS crowd.
Equally absurd is the position perpetuated by the anti-Catholics that the Magesterium of the Church has no valid role as a resource to Catholics in their interpretation of Scripture but the Rev. Bill-Bob Rolex with a Doctor of Divinity degree from the East Podunk Christian School of Theology and Diesel Maintenance is as credible as the Burning Bush.
Catholics cannot discern any correct doctrine without their Popes and councils - yes, that’s absurd!
But nowhere near as absurd as those who attempt to do it without any counsel. That is like choosing to diagnose and treat cancer and heart disease without a doctor or attempting to repair and fly a jumbo jet without any outside guidance. Like those who choose to be their own lawyers those who choose to be their own Magisterium have fools for clients.
The Magisterium are Catholics so your contention is, at face value, absurd.

I have wondered what is wrong with this poor soul that obviously has read the bible and yet has missed or chosen to ignore the part that tells us precisely what he has said, is so false.
Our bible has always fascinated me in how it tells us also that our Lord comes “when we think not.” So, if we think He can’t come tomorrow because someone predicted that He would, He actually could?
It’s great to have the return of Jesus given any publicity at all, ya know? Yet I hope and pray no one is such a messed-up, manic mess that this does harm to them, and yet they will have to take responsibility for being so messed-up, I do believe.

The rapture types know they will die so they predict the death of the world instead . It is a sick kind of twist in the human heart and imagination to use the bible for selfish purposes. But then that is what C I Schofield was all about.

Right here He discredits all those who claim to know the date. By Jesus' own words, you can know they're lying and false prophets because He said NOBODY would know the day or hour. Harold Camping is no exception.
