Why don’t you Lera read a Bible, read history or just read any facts? You have persistently posted false history like the 1229 Codex which didn’t even exist. Not only that, but your biblical interpretations are utterly flawed. Why not read something before commenting please?

You have not acknowledged the fact that you, Lera, reposted a lie about the 1229 Codex. Why?

Don't you realise that this is just the latest in a long list of false stories that your posts contain? I don't believe you thought them up yourself as these are the standard anti-Catholic lies repeated over and over again in various websites directed at non-Catholics.

Poor innocent folks like yourself are the target of these liars who lie against Christianity and in the worst way -- with utterly provable falsehoods

Your group believes that Donatists and Novationists were its predecessors? Then why do you not hold to the Eucharist and baptism for the remisison of sins as they did?

Why does your group not hold to apostolic succession? DOn't you know that that was the reason for these two disputes in the first place? Seriously?

"Why don’t you Lera read a Bible, read history or just read any facts?"

Once one has wrapped ones head around the lie that the Church is the source of all evil and the blame for ones individual shortcomings one must then distort historical realities to corroborate the lie. Its the classic lie to cover up a lie.

What beats me is that Lera has been shown over and over again how the statements in her posts are consistently wrong. I believe she is a good person earnestly searching for the truth and yet the posts copy standard lies and falsehoods on the usual haters websites.

It is the fatal flaw with the Googlesterium and the snipped approach to biblical interpretation. Like the practice of substantiating any and every bizarre or heretical doctrine with snippets of out of context Scripture too many search the internet to find corroborating information and run with it irrespective of the veracity or accuracy of the information.

Too many have no formal education in history or religion, and lack the critical reading, study skills and work ethic to properly research any issue BEFORE coming to a conclusion. We see it over and over again here in the Religion Forum.

I don't mind the "no formal education" but -- I'm an engineer and all that I know on history and the Bible is self-read over years, by reading various sources, even sources that oppose each other to get the different viewpoints.

Also, like every good Catholic (like yourself, NL), I have a good sense of scepticism and study and learn anything before accepting any fad or faked up history

Lera's group of folks is one which fakes up the Bible and history -- what kind of insane Christian group would claim Paulicians, Donatists, Novatians, Cathars etc. as their predecessors?

If you ask them why the group does not know the answer except what their websites have written. They don't even realise that all of these groups have utterly different religious backgroudns and beliefs

Besides which, in Lera's posts there have consistently been false history -- the 1229 codex was just the latest.

I feel sad for such posts and such groups.

Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Yes, good statement for you to tell your pastor.

Your posts belie an utter lack of knowledg of the Bible and history.

Do note that You have not acknowledged the fact that you, Lera, reposted a lie about the 1229 Codex. Why?

As I pointed out

  1. The Index of Forbidden books was established in 1559 not 1229

So, I tell you to tell your sources to realize the lies it spreads and they come from the Father of Lies

Repent and reject these false pastors and liars.

When will you realise Lera that your sect’s denial of Christ in the Eucharist and denial of baptism for the remission of sins is contrary to God’s own word?
