The use of mass media to lull the senses of the populace. The unjust and arbritary taxation for political favor. Why a King could very well demand lands be seized on a whim. That farmlands be flooded to please subjects most loyal to him.
In truth I don’t favor a monarchy but the idea of displacing a bad ruler by means of the axe’s blade is a tempting one these days.
