Based on my observations of Catholic behavior and response on these threads, the only way possible to *make peace* with a Catholic is to capitulate and agree with them that the Catholic church is the one true church and that everything that they believe is Biblically based and correct.

It is much like the islam definition of the word *peace*. Peace to them means *submission* (to islam). If you reject islam, you are not willing to make peace. So it is with Catholics. There is simply no disagreeing with them without the perpetually offended Catholics making themselves out to be martyrs.

As far as compromising what I believe in. It ain’t gonna happen.

Scripture is the final authority. It is the only true and inerrant word of God, giving us all we need to know for our salvation and living a holy life, pleasing to God.

*It is written...* is all that concerns me.

So, if making peace means agreeing with Catholics and treating them with kid gloves, no, by THAT standard, peace is not possible.
