If you don’t need to spout your own interpretations, why can’t you accept Catholic’s own rationales and be done with it and/or simply disagree?

Hmmm

1. Roman Catholics on FR have DEMONSTRATED as well as ASSERTED many contradictory things. Not just contradicting Scripture but each other and highlighting contradictory slices of their own documents etc.

2. I believe it is a gift to them and to lurkers to highlight such incongruencies—whether they think so, or not.

3. Mere disagreement is overly cheap, to me. If I really care for a brother, I want to prevent his headlong rush into the ditch . . . and/or do all I can to help him out of the ditch . . . or even, perhaps, to foster enough anger that he climbs out of the ditch to come chase me.
