Yes, as countries fall away from their Protestant roots, roots grounded in faith in Christ alone, individual liberty and confidence in the providence of God, countries devolve into secularism, disbelief, liberalism and its step-sister, Romanism.

Actually, I believe that liberalism stems from protestantism. The mantra, “I will not serve” is what started Protestantism, and what perpetuates liberalism.
