I guess the lesson I would take from this is that I must reflect upon my own life and see what I place at or above Jesus.

These are precisely the conclusions my wife and I walked away with from our 4 year 'exposure' to SLC and the Mormon influence there. And quite frankly, the church we attended there is still a great influence on us. It is by far the strongest church we've encountered in terms of member associations and caring for one another. Yet it existed and was a successful and growing congregation amidst the overriding specter of Mormonism.
