HA HA!
The MORMON 'jesus' cannot forgive the sin of MURDER!
AMEN!
And....
Ah ha!
You are assuming the wound was infected. It was not.
Frankly, out there it was the other way around as well...
Don’t know what goes on behind closed doors so to speak. Never been in a temple (obviously), just visited the Temple Grounds downtown a time or two. My son and I did stir a little excitement when we asked the person leading a group why, when an individual was being married in the temple, who’s parent wasn’t a Mormon, that parent wasn’t allowed to be part of the ceremony. No, there wasn’t an answer, and the group moved on.
We felt it a legitimate question. I still do. “Suffer the children” and all that. God’s house so God should decide who is welcome. Whatever way one wants to paint it, it seems wrong to me.
When I say ‘old stuff’, it’s mostly jazz, old standards and Dixieland. That’s what I was brought up on. I can enjoy Patsy Cline or Eddie Arnold, handle a little of Hank Williams, and there’s probably a very few others that I can listen to and enjoy occasionally. But that’s very infrequently.
My relationship with jazz and standards comes from a family member who’s dad roomed with Hoagy Carmichael in college, and who learned the piano from him. I grew up next door to that family, baby sat their kids, and the music collection was available to me at any time. Dixieland is still heaven to my ears. Mercy, I do love it so...

Why would that be when lds claim the Bible is not translated correctly?
Personally, I do think it is gracious that grey asks if you are still on your meds, she worries about your health. Why is this worry somehow not kind?
Take me back to Tulsa,
I’m too young to marry...
Now that is funny...
If the benchmark was always the Bible, then what is the need for "Another testament"? While your claim (which is true) that man doesn't always adhere to the Bible and it's Christian teaching, that isn't the Bible's fault but man's. After all, we all sin and fall short of the glory of God.
And, as you've pointed out to me, not all published Bibles are true to the Word. I'll not argue against that. But that still doesn't mean another testament is necessary when your church proclaims the King James Version, which dates back to 1611, to be the true interpretation.
So, why is another testament necessary? Especially when a fair portion of that other testament seems pulled directly from the KJV Bible? Which leads me to conclude that the angel who spoke to JS spoke in 1611 era English...
Yeppers! I have to leave for the Madison, WI VA. I’ll be back online, probably tomorrow.
See ya...
I’m from Tulsa. I always love listening to Bob Wills ...Aaaannnnd The Texas Playboys!
They use to broadcast from some place in Tulsa, I forget where and it was before my time, erh, birth.

Have a nice trip.
Wait a minute. I just notice you are going to the VA. Hope everything is allright.
Post #54 - "...my fellow Christians..."
There is no "symptom", you clearly affiliated with Christians in a previous post.
Incompetence in keeping one's lies straight is the hallmark of an intellectually dishonest and deceitful individual.
How "intellectual" of you.
Can't win on merit, or with a rational argument, so you resort to perjoratives.
Godwin's Law.
More "claims of persecution", pathetic.
A mormon posted a thread that the founder of FR found extremely objectionable to his faith and beliefs.
I guess in your world, he was just supposed to ignore that?
Great friends ya got there, Resty
