Are social conservatives so unhappy with the current flock of 2012 GOP contenders that they might turn to Donald Trump?
That's what some top evangelical leaders, including former Christian Coalition head Ralph Reed, tell the Christian Broadcasting Network's David Brody.
Trump, who has made headlines in recent days for his sudden embrace of birther conspiracies about President Obama, has been almost equally vocal about his surprisingly conservative views. Among other things, Trump has come out against same sex marriage and said he's against abortion--two stances that have evangelicals "intrigued," according to Brody....

Thats what is and will destroy America completely, not gay guys or any of those second-tier issues.
So American issues take precedence over Christian issues with you I take it. Here’s something more basic than America, the family, the fabric of civilization, which is fundamental to Christianity. As a Christian, you shouldn’t put the flag over the cross.
I think that Trump is a poser as well and we'll quickly find out that his bark is stronger than his bite. Trump is used to operating in an area where he can accomplish a lot. He won't find it so easy to quickly assert his agenda in DC or dominate/intimidate his opponents.
In another post, you mentioned that gays are not as big a threat to our security as immigration. Maybe not immediately but their corrosive effect on society is inevitable. Both unlimited immigration and acceptance of perverse practices such as homosexuality are fruits of the same misguided tree: diversity.
