I must call paranoia on this. First of all there are no Mormons in that picture.
Second of all, it is really a challenge to be a woman in a hand-shaking world. You never can be sure where the line is. Is this the time for a good-old-boy double-pump? A forthright bank-manager style? The warm but business-like double hand shake? Or an intimate same-hand squeeze.
Than half the men and most of the women will just do the limp thing or go for your fingertips when you were aiming for web-to-web. You end up with the most awkward grips you can imagine.
Handshaking is a skill that many need to practice.
