The Olde English is one that I find awkward. When I bless our food, I find myself deliberately thinking about my prayer. Not good, but I pray that God will understand.
Praying, I can do ok, not great. Still kneel, but also just close my eyes wherever I’m at and beseech Him. Especially for patience with our soon to be 16 y.o. son. Ungh!
But I take comfort in the fact that God is happy to just have me coming to Him once again.
16 y.o. son. I’ll pray for you (in modern day language)!
I have a soon to be 16 y.o. grandson. I raised three boys to adulthood, and now I can rest!
