A joyful noise?

Some might call it joyful. :(

I like it loud so I can sing my heart out and only God can hear me. I too am a “joyful noise” singer, LOL!

I switched from my church of 10+ years to another Calvary Chapel church because their music was so loud, so rock-oriented and played such a HUGE role in the church that it became a distraction..they would have extended guitar solos and drum solos, playing as if they were Eric Clapton in front of screaming fans...yuck.

My current church (Edgewater Fellowship in Grants Pass, Oregon) plays respectful music, pretty music, some rock, some jazz, some classical, sometimes using just a person with a guitar and another with a flute...it’s not jarring and loud, as the other church was.
