Brant Pitre is great. His knowledge of Sacred Scripture is amazing, and he is an excellent and highly informative speaker. I have seen him at the National Catholic Bible Conference in Denver in 2009 and at the Western Bible Conference in Riverside, CA in 2010 and again in 2011. He, Scott Hahn and Michael Barber are the principal speakers at the Riverside conference every January.

One of my favorite subjects.
I read a wonderful book about how the Jewish festivals are actually foreshadowing humanity’s journey to judgement day. The Passover festival was the foreshadowing of the Messiah and the Mass.
All these foreshadowings are a sign of God’s great love for the Jews. He tried everything possible to give them signs so they would recognize the Messiah and his Eucharist.
This is nothing new. In fact, it’s been standard Christian dogma for over 1000 years.
All this over the Passover seder?
