You were right to a point. They are not nor ever have been Christian, but many are very good patriotic folk (well also to a point, see Mitt Romney sycophants)

Yet you ask us to let them dance with the Devil straight to the gates of hell itself without as much as a peep.

If wanting to save Good Patriotic people is hate in your eyes it says much about you.
