Thanks, much appreciated. Ya know, if people really really want to get technical it was the Romans that killed Jesus. It was the soldiers that nailed him to the cross. Of course they were only following orders; then too, it was Pontius Pilate Roman prefect of Judaea (AD 26 – 36) who presided at the trial of Jesus and gave the order for his crucifixion.
So basically all the Jews did was ask for Barabbas, the local boy they knew to be set free.
