Yes, as opposed to Catholics who sin. These sins are against Catholic doctrine, and those who are engaged in it are participating in grave sin according to the teachings of the Church.
Whereas female pastors, homosexual marriage, birth control etc. are now endorsed as a part of Protestant doctrine ever-changing with the times. There's no comparison; thanks for bringing it up.
I’ve got to ask, do you realize that we Protestants don’t have a single, unified doctrine handed down by man like you Roman Catholics do?
Furthermore, do you even realize that there are those who are not Roman Catholic or Orthodox, but neither are we Protestant either?
Freewill Baptists, for one, aren’t descended from Protestant lines, we’re closer to Pentacostals and other Armenian lines. Southern Baptists, on the other hand, are closer to the mainstream Protestant lines due to their Calvinistic bent. That being said, neither one of them would accept female pastors, marry homosexuals or endorse abortion.
If you’re going to speak to us about the “sins” of our denominations, at least have the intellectual honesty to get our beliefs right.
