Yes, the RM has recently said it is against the rules to post in a foreign language without a translation.

The only exceptions are words like “adieu” and “bon appetite” which most people understand.

I have never heard of such a thing. I don’t dispute it, though, DrE.

I think it’s unnecessary. All of us have google.

Latin is NOT a “foreign” language “Doctor”, it is a DEAD language. Fixed. Finis. (For those in Rio Linda that means FINISHED.) Literate scholars are versed in Latin. But if you have not the simple ability to google, I have posted the English for the Credo. Do you truly need me to post the same for the Ave Maria? I am happy to help those less able when asked, so feel free to ask.
