Is it not viable to use something written to make a point, not create a doctrine of it or ruffle feathers, but gain a common ground in beholding what is going on in the World today?

I am more inclined to beleive the Mayan Calendar, not because I think the Mayans were prophets but because of the fools out there today who are all to willing to make it a “self fulfilling prophecy” when 2012 rolls around.
