Just eliminate the Religion Forum altogether. It was a bad idea in the first place, and it has arrived at the place where it was always destined to anyhow. Oh, I dunno. Over the years that I've been here I have seen people come to the faith and grow in their faith. That must be worth something? After all, if all the angels in heaven rejoice, can't we?
Someone once said the church is like Noah's Ark. You can only stand the stench inside because of the storm outside.
We're not perfect, but where else would be be?

I have seen people come to the faith and grow in their faith. That must be worth something? [...] We're not perfect, but where else would be be? Agree completely, Harley. In addition, this place allows conservatives of different confessions to understand one another better, even in disagreement. It is invaluable, and we are in debt to Jim for finding the unifying formula: grass-roots conservatism.
To the main point: if someone wants to form a caucus around a definition that might seem absurd to outsiders, the outsiders don't need to join, and it is not the job of the moderator team to sort out everyone's theology.
