by being rude .................I wanted to stay away from freerepublic.
This is the very reason you probably shouldn’t be on the open threads rahter do as the moderators suggest and go on the devotional or caucas threads which might be more to your liking. You do have a choice...or jsjust not come to the religious threads.
Additionally scroll button works very well to by pass those who you wouldn’t want to engage with...so you have many options.

I take The Lord’s Prayer quite seriously.
I also believe we are all fallen creatures seeing through the glass darkly.
I’m fierce against some things that are outrageous to God, as well—as clearly outlined in His Word.
However . . . I still care for every FREEPER and wish them the closest of relationships with God and those they love.

We love Quix’s pictures! And they often break up the otherwise tension...seen and noted by most. Sometimes we laugh so hard everybody gets the giggles...photos lighten up the thread.
I didn’t say they have no place. It’s not my job to tell other people where their ideosyncracies should be placed.
I simply expressed the message they communicated to me, in case the poster had a different purpose and would like to know the approach was counter-productive.

pretended to be one size fits all.
God made it abundantly clear and painfully clear long long ago
that HE made me unique and would discipline me very harshly if I kept trying to do the impossible—to homogenize myself into some lowest common denominator personna.
He has His reasons. I’m along for the ride.

Hello Boatmans... these threads have brought me far in dealing with those in the outside world...and in the workplace and this with favorable results,,,though not always seen as so to the ones I might have to address...but at the end of the day I have my say and they have something to chew on.
That’s a major role and goal of mine . . . as well as a major commision . . .
to leave . . . thought-bombs for Holy Spirit to light off over the following months and years.
