NO Your telling me what things were not there. The verse says SOMETHINGS were not available What I’m to understand you are saying NONE of these were available. I don’t read it that way.
Read the passage a little slower bm. The first verse states clearly that these things were found in "GREAT ABUNDANCE"
The very next verse states that precious things weren't used because they were not found on the land.

Further bm, according to the Bible, it took 150,000 men seven years to build the temple, but nephite crew of a dozen or so men managed just fine.
