Well call me confused, because I'm not sure where you are going with that statement?
The only thing I can think of is perhaps Foxe's Book of Martyrs which tells the story of the over 50 million Christians the RCC slaughtered during her reign of terror between 538 - 1798. You might want to go read it sometime, quite the eye opener. Makes supposed blasphemy by protestants pale in comparison.
